Moon Box Quest

Moon Box is a classic Conquer questline built around the Eight-Diagram Tactics.

On TempestCO, the flow stays close to the official quest:

• enter at Level 70+
• get sent into random token tactics
• collect all 6 tactic tokens
• return to Maggie
• enter Death Tactic
• convert the six tokens into a SoulJade
• enter Life Tactic
• free a LonelyGhost for your reward

The main custom change is the final reward choice: instead of the old 3 Meteors option, you can take 1 DragonBall or the classic MoonBox.

On TempestCO, MoonBox is now an openable reward box with its own confirmation prompt and random loot table.

Tactic Flow

Entry

Talk to Fortuneteller in Twin City.

If you are at least Level 70, you are sent into the Moon Box entrance where Maggie waits.

Random Tactics

When you ask Maggie to send you in, you are routed randomly to:

• one of the 6 token tactics
• or, less often, Death Tactic

You are not sent directly into Life Tactic.

Token Tactics

Each token tactic has monsters that drop one specific token.

To finish the full quest, you must collect all 6 different tokens:

• PeaceToken
• ChaosToken
• DesertToken
• ProsperToken
• DisturbToken
• CalmToken
• you need one from each token tactic before the full route unlocks

Once you have the token for your current tactic, the local Ghost can send you back out to Maggie.

Full Clear Route

After collecting all 6 unique tokens:

1. return to Maggie
2. ask her to send you into Death Tactic
3. talk to DeathGhost
4. convert the six tokens into a SoulJade
5. enter Life Tactic
6. trade the SoulJade to a LonelyGhost

That is the full Moon Box completion path.

Death Tactic Rules

Death Tactic is now a control / escape map rather than a farming map.

Current rules:

• if you enter with all 6 tokens, DeathGhost opens the proper route to Life Tactic
• if you have at least 3 different tokens, DeathGhost can redirect you to another token tactic for 1 CP
• if you have at least 3 different tokens, DeathGhost can also end the run early for 100 CPs, but that shortcut only pays a MoonBox
• if you get trapped there and just want out, DeathGhost can release you for 50 CPs
• Death Tactic does not have token mobs; it is used for routing, exit choices, and the Life Tactic unlock

This keeps the quest difficult enough that the DragonBall reward is tied to the full clear.

Rewards

At the end of Life Tactic, LonelyGhost offers:

• 1 DragonBall
• 1 MoonBox

Reward notes:

• DragonBall is the TempestCO replacement for the old 3 Meteors choice
• MoonBox remains available for players who want the classic quest item, but it can now be opened after a confirmation prompt
• the 100 CP Death Tactic shortcut does not award a DragonBall

If you open the MoonBox, it can award one of these items:

• +2 Stone
• Meteor Scroll
• DragonBall
• +3 Stone
• Praying Stone (S)
• Praying Stone (M)
• +4 Stone
• Magical Bottle
• ToughDrill
• Praying Stone (L)
• +5 Stone
• +6 Stone
• Miraculous Gourd

Repeatability

The quest is repeatable as long as you complete the token collection and reward hand-in again.

There is no registration window or scheduled event time attached to it.

Tips

• Start with open inventory space so token and reward handling is smooth.
• If you land in Death Tactic too early, either pay 50 CPs to leave or, once you have enough progress, pay 1 CP to reroll into another token tactic.
• The 1 DragonBall reward is balanced around a full six-token clear, not the shortcut route.
• If you want the box loot table, choose MoonBox at the end instead of DragonBall.
